U City Summer Concert Band--July 7

The University City Summer Concert Band hosts free outdoor concerts during the summer. All concerts start at 7pm and last about 60 minutes with a short intermission. You can come and go as you please. The concerts are held in the outdoor Market in the Loop Plaza, next to Racanelli's and across the street from St Louis Bread Co.

Bring a lawn chair, available seating is limited. And bring your children!

For the last piece each concert, the band plays "On the Mall." Children are invited to come up to the front and conduct the band and receive their very own UCity Summer Band pencil!

Even though it is summer, concerts are held in the shade between two buildings. There is no glaring sun and it's a wonderful way to end a hot summer day!
