The Compton Heights Concert Band of St. Louis presents exciting, old-fashioned Sousa-style band concerts with world-class guest artists. All concerts are free and open to the public and start at 7:30pm.
Sunday concerts are performed at Francis Park (for more info, call 776-2227). Monday concerts are performed at the Music Stand in Tower Grove Park (for more info, call 771-2679).
7/12 and 13 – David Morris, World Champion Whistler
In 2003 David Morris achieved the top whistling award and became the "International Grand Champion" in the 30th Annual World Whistling Championships in Louisburg, North Carolina! He has whistled his way onto our stage this summer and will delight the audience in some amazing whistling feats with incredible musicianship and lyrical phrasing. You'll be whistling home after the concerts!
