Compton Heights Concert Band--July 26 and 27

The Compton Heights Concert Band of St. Louis presents exciting, old-fashioned Sousa-style band concerts with world-class guest artists. All concerts are free and open to the public and start at 7:30pm.

Sunday concerts are performed at Francis Park (for more info, call 776-2227). Monday concerts are performed at the Music Stand in Tower Grove Park (for more info, call 771-2679).

7/26 and 27 – Geoffrey Gallante, Trumpet!

8 year old Trumpet phenom, Geoffrey Gallante, Headlines the 5th week of Sunday Serenades & Musical Mondays! Geoffrey began playing by age 4! He auditioned for band camp at age 4 and was placed at the highest level ranked with students 10 years older. He continues to develop his talent performing with diverse ensembles such as the Northern Indiana Symphony Orchestra, the Ridgewood NJ Concert Band, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, the Philadelphia Brass, the Washington Symphonic Brass, the youngest performer ever at the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center with a Jazz Band, and even guest TV appearances on the CBS Early Show and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno!
