Cahokia Mounds Historic Site will be hosting Archeology Day this Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Expert craftpersons will demonstrate ancient crafts including bow & arrow making, flintknapping, potterymaking, fingerweaving, bone-shell-gourd carving, and more. Archaeologists will explain scientific techniques, visitors can wash 1,000 year old artifacts, tour excavations and hear storytelling. Food & drinks will be available.
