The house of Daniel Bissell, military commander of the Upper Louisiana Territory, was built in 1812 and now displays artifacts and other decorative arts and furnishing from the 19th century. The Bissell House will be hosting a Craft Fair from 10am-4pm on Sunday and Monday, Aug 23 and 24. The Bissell House is no longer open to the public except for special events, so this is a great opportunity to see a bit of history.
